I am an associate working with all areas of IP, but with a particular fondness for litigating disputes relating to trademark, copyright and marketing law. The need for in-depth legal analysis combined with strategic and rhetoric considerations makes it, in my view, the most demanding but also rewarding part of practicing law. I also advice on regulatory matters mainly relating to life sciences, food stuffs, alcohol and tobacco.
Prior to joining the team in 2017, I spent 2,5 years serving as a law clerk at Nacka District Court and Svea Court of Appeal, including six months at the specialised Patent and Market Court of Appeal which has exclusive jurisdiction in IP and marketing law matters in Sweden. This has given me valuable experience from inside the court system and made me a better legal counsel and litigator. Recent work highlights include acting for a leading company in the DNA sequencing field in complex patent litigation.
I always strive to get a sound grasp of my client’s business and how the legal matter before me relates to it. This helps me to provide advice that not only covers the legal assessment, but that keeps my client’s needs in the foreground and helps them in achieving their goals.
I am a member of the Swedish Bar Association, as well as AIPPI, SFIR and SFU.
