I am a founding partner of Westerberg and joined the team in 2010 at another law firm. I am a dedicated lawyer giving a high level of personal attention to matters and I believe in straight-forward communication with clients. I always appreciate feedback, to be able to better adapt my way of working to that of the client.
I have worked with IP for over ten years, covering all areas of the field, but with a particular focus on contentious patent and trademark matters. This work has often involved technical aspects across a range of industries (including medical devices, pharma, explosives, fintech, power transmission and many other industries), particularly in the life sciences sector. I enjoy learning the details of new technical areas.
As an avid video gamer, I also enjoyed a year seconded to leading video game company Electronic Arts, where I worked broadly with legal aspects of video game development.
Recent work highlights include: successfully acting for Illumina, a leading DNA sequencing company, in highly complex patent infringement and invalidity proceedings; acting for a pharmaceutical company in 3D trademark proceedings; covering for in-house counsel at a video game company during a parental leave.
I am a board member of the Swedish Anti-Counterfeiting Group (SACG), and a member of the European Patent Lawyers Association (EPLAW), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the Swedish Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (SFIR).
