I am a founding partner of Westerberg and joined the team in 2010 at another law firm. I am a dedicated lawyer giving a high level of personal attention to matters and I believe in straight-forward communication with clients. I always appreciate feedback, to be able to better adapt my way of working to that of the client.
I have worked with IP for over ten years, covering all areas of the field, but with a particular focus on contentious patent and trademark matters. This work has often involved technical aspects across a range of industries (including explosives, fintech, power transmission and many other industries), particularly in the life sciences sector. I enjoy learning the details of new technical areas.
As an avid video gamer, I also enjoyed a year seconded to leading video game company Electronic Arts, where I worked broadly with legal aspects of video game development.
Recent work highlights include: acting for several originator pharmaceutical companies in patent infringement and invalidity proceedings; acting for a pharmaceutical company in 3D trademark proceedings; acting for a leading company in the DNA sequencing field in complex patent litigation.
I am a board member of the Swedish Anti-Counterfeiting Group (SACG), and a member of EPLAW, INTA, AIPPI and SFIR.
Examples of recent recognition include the following:
Referred to in IAM Patent 1000 (2021) as someone who “produces great work and gives solid, clear and practical advice” at every turn.”
Referred to in World Trademark Review (2021) as a “charming all-rounder”
