I am a committed trademark specialist with a passion for assisting clients in building strong brands from a strategic and legal perspective. I have over twenty years of experience within the IP field. During my career I have covered most areas of IP and related areas of law, but always with a strong focus on trademarks, designs, copyright and domain names, and particularly the management of large trademark portfolios. I have extensive global experience in development of trademark strategies for a vast variety of trademarks within separate fields and with different types of challenges.
I am head of the firm’s team of trademark lawyers and paralegals that manage our clients’ IP portfolios. In this role I advise on trademark strategies and IP strategy in general. The day-to-day work include everything from IP protection and maintenance; management of trademark, design and domain name portfolios; clearance searches conducted prior to filing and/or launch; and monitoring and enforcement strategies. I also supervise the process from filing to registration and I manage actions such as oppositions and cancellations. In collaboration with clients I assist in for instance setting up IP strategies, defending famous brands against dilution, and acting for avoidance of degeneration.
I am an authorized Swedish trademark attorney and a professional representative before the EUIPO and a member of, inter alia, the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Swedish Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (SFIR) and MARQUES.
