My legal career started off in 2006, when our trademark and design portfolio management team was formed. I became a member of the Swedish Bar Association in 2012. One of my passions in life is fashion, and I have been lucky enough to work four years as an inhouse legal counsel at H&M, where I had the opportunity to see law firm work from a client perspective. I rejoined my previous colleagues to form Westerberg in 2019.
I am a specialist in the proactive and strategic part of the IP legal work, where I strive to strengthen the protection and value of trademarks and designs of my clients while also balancing possible risks of infringement. My expertise lies within trademark and designs portfolio management, including trademark and design clearance, filing and renewal strategies, trademark oppositions, portfolio due diligence, and acting against infringements. I frequently help clients in expanding their businesses to new markets and new product categories.
My experience also includes other types of proactive IP work such as image bank contracts and negotiating releases for campaign and product materials.
In a nutshell, I am used to work closely with my clients throughout a product’s life cycle.
I have considerable experience of giving IP courses to non-lawyers.
What I enjoy most in my work is to provide a high level of service to my clients and I strongly believe that being responsive and agile is key in a good client relationship.
I am a member of INTA, SFIR and SACG.
