I joined Westerberg in 2022 and work as an associate in the dispute resolution team.
I am a dual-qualified lawyer (New York and Sweden), educated in both the civil law and the common law traditions. Besides an LLM from the University of Gothenburg, I hold an LLM from Vanderbilt Law School and a GDL from the University of Law.
My legal work experience is broad. I worked in the Swedish Courts for six years, first as a law clerk and then as Assistant/Associate Judge at a district court and the Court of Appeal for Western Sweden. After that, I served as a Legal Adviser with the Division for Procedural Law and Court Issues at the Swedish Ministry of Justice. Most recently, before joining Westerberg, I worked for several years as a criminal defence lawyer in Sweden. Having appeared as defence counsel in many serious criminal cases, I have gained extensive experience in oral advocacy before first instance courts and appellate courts.
I have a keen interest in international matters, legal analysis and advocacy. Using my skills to achieve the best possible outcome for the client is something I find very stimulating.
