I joined Westerberg as a partner in 2020. My practice is focused on litigation within Intellectual property and Media and Marketing law as well as commercial dispute resolution. I am co-author of the book ”Marknadsföringsrätt, Den materiella rätten och processen” published by Norstedts Juridik in 2021. I am also, together with Westerberg’s Siri Alvsing, author of Norsteds Juridik’s legal commentary (Lexino) on the Swedish Trademark Act.
Prior to joining Westerberg & Partners I practiced as a judge at the Swedish Patent and Market court where I decided a large number of IP disputes. I have also worked as an associate judge at the Svea Court of Appeal and registrar at the Swedish Supreme court´s Intellectual Property division. My background as a judge has given me solid procedural knowledge and experience of handling a wide range of complex legal matters as well as valuable insights in resolving disputes by settlement negotiations.
In 2022, I completed the Arbitrator Training Program, organized by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA). I have been appointed as chair arbitrator by SCC and take assignments as sole as well as party-appointed arbitrator.
My experience also covers six years of practice as a litigation attorney at another Swedish law firm, where I handled cases in Swedish courts, ad hoc and institutional arbitrations and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
I am a member of the Swedish Bar Association, Swedish Arbitration Association, Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), Swedish Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (SFIR). I currently serve as a member of the IP-organisation Marques’ dispute resolution team.
