I am a determined, curious, and devoted person who believes that the best way to assist clients is when you help them become better at understanding IP and thus becoming better at understanding their own challenges.
I have worked with IP for over eleven years, with a particular focus on designs, trademarks, GDPR, unfair marketing practices and copyright prosecution and litigation.
Recent work includes working with litigation and prosecution in many of the fields of intellectual property. I have also worked with the management of large trademark and design portfolios covering several different industries such as fashion, industrial design and media. I have represented parties in litigation in front of the Swedish Patent and Market Court in cases regarding copyright and unfair competition.
I am the vice editor for the editorial IP bulletin NIR, a board member of SFIR where I also am the designated person responsible for the Design group. I am a member of INTA, where I also have been a speaker at several seminars and Vice Chair for the Cyberspace team at MARQUES.
For the past twelve years, I have also been a teacher at Stockholm University faculty of law in courses in IP, unfair competition and competition law.
Recent recognition includes:
“Linnea Harnesk has great academic skills, industry knowledge and interest.” (Legal 500 2020)
