I joined the IP team in 2017, before the conception of Westerberg. Prior to joining the IP team, I worked as a corporate legal counsel for one of the world’s largest retailers, operating in the fashion industry.
I work with most areas within IP and have experience in dispute resolution and commercial advice within patent, trademark and design law as well as copyright and unfair marketing. I also advise on IP-centric transactions, especially within the life sciences section or those that relate to high value brands. Much of my work also relates to regulatory matters in the food stuffs, alcohol, healthcare, tobacco, gaming and consumer protection sectors.
In addition to IP, I have experience in contract negotiations, especially private procurement of complex services and distribution and agency agreements.
Recent work includes patent litigation in the Patent- and Market Court relating to a mechanical patent, acting for an originator pharmaceutical company to secure the right to data protection for a medicinal product, acquisition of a healthcare related product portfolio and negotiating the termination of several key agreements due to the discontinuation of a division of a company.
Having worked as a corporate legal counsel, I have a high degree of interest in providing advise which is business-focused and I always strive to understand the details of the context and industry when advising clients.
I am a member of AIPPI, SFU and SFIR.
